If you enjoy surfing or skim boarding, Mati is the place to be. Because of its location to the Pacific Ocean, it is known as Mindanao's skim boarding capital.
How to get there?
If you're coming from Davao City, you can take a bus for about 4-5 hours. Banaybanay is the first town you passed through (my hometown). When you arrive at the terminal, you can ride a pedicab or motorcycle for 10-15 minutes for Php100, which my friend and I paid (50 each). If you see a mountain that resembles a sleeping dinosaur, you're almost there.

The Blue Bless Resort
One of the best resorts I've ever visited. You can take a tour of the resort for a fee of Php30. The staff is exceptionally nice, and the amenities are Instagram-worthy. You can try their Halo-halo for only Php95 it was delicious!!!

Amihan, Dahican
This place is paradise. I could stay here forever because of white sand, big waves ideal for skim boarding and surfing, and volleyball net. For only PHP150, you can rent a skim board, and if you're new to it, you can add Php50 and someone will teach you how to do it.

Mati is undeniably a go-to place if you're looking for beautiful white sand beaches and stunning scenery!!!
